Service Description
GenomeNarrator provides a genomic analysis platform that processes genetic data to identify disease risk variants, trait associations, and health insights based on peer-reviewed research, via a free preview tier and paid plans.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring any genetic data you upload is accurate and that you have the legal right to use and analyze it. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, not upload others' genetic data without authorization, not reverse engineer or compromise the Service, and not use it to develop competing products.
Medical Disclaimer
GenomeNarrator is NOT a medical diagnostic tool and does not provide medical advice. Reports are for informational and educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Results are based on current scientific literature and may change as research evolves; genetic risk does not guarantee disease development; environmental and lifestyle factors significantly influence outcomes; always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions. This Service is not FDA-approved for clinical or diagnostic use.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of GenomeNarrator — text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and software — are owned by GenomeNarrator. You retain all rights to your genetic data; using the Service grants us only a limited license to process it to generate your reports.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenomeNarrator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
Data Privacy and Security
Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Your raw genetic data file is parsed locally in your browser and never leaves your device; raw genetic information is not stored on our servers.
Pricing & Billing
GenomeNarrator offers a free preview tier and paid plans, with payments processed securely by Stripe. See full pricing. Subscriptions may be canceled at any time from account settings; refund requests are handled case-by-case.
Research and Citations
Our analysis is based on publicly available scientific literature and databases including SNPedia, ClinVar, and the GWAS Catalog, cited for transparency and educational purposes.
Termination, Governing Law & Changes
We may terminate or suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms. These Terms are governed by applicable law.
